MY HUSBAND'S BODY - INTRODUCTION

To judge whether your man has "middle-age spread" or is merely pudgy, take a good look at his naked body. If he has heavy arms and the fat is fairly well distributed all over his body—he's obese. If the flab is centered on the trunk—it's middle-age spread. Middle-age spread is slightly easier to control because it does not indicate a lifelong trend toward overeating or bad eating habits.

Actually, I would like to say that my husband's body is none of your business. But that's not really the case. Because if your husband's body is anything like my husband's, then you too have a problem.

My husband is built like his parents, which is to be expected. He is not as heavy as Buddha or Santa Claus, nor as slim as Abraham Lincoln or Ichabod Crane. Genetically speaking, he could never look like Lincoln or Crane. But still, he could look like a thinner version of his parents and be a lot healthier!

Check out your husband tonight and see if there's room for improvement. Unsightly flab should be a warning sign it's time for you to take over and get him back to size.
