About Us

Akron Pharmacy was founded by Sherif Mankaryous, RPh in June 2013. After 5 years working in Akron City Hospital (Summa Health System) serving in-patients. Sherif felt that the area in underserved and need more independent pharmacies. Working with Akron Chamber of Commerce , Ohio Small Business Development Center, University Park Alliance and Huntington Bank, Akron Pharmacy was possible. Since then Akron Pharmacy main focus was offering convenience, medication education to the neighborhood. After doing business as Akron Heath Mart Pharmacy for almost 6 years - one more location was started in Akron and doing business name was changed to MAC Pharmacy. Through these two locations all staff at Akron Pharmacy is dedicated to offer their best to every single client.
